Seems like everyone I know is digging out from hurricane Sandy. Luckily, Boston wasn’t hit very hard and the biggest hiccup to my day was that the T was shut down at 2pm. (on the plus side- this meant I got out of work early).  But, for a lot of people the reality is something a long the lines of this:

Which as I see it-isn’t the WORST thing to ever happen. I mean its certainly a pain to pick up, but after all of that wood gets chopped up, there is enough firewood to last the whole winter.  I really can’t think of anything better than curling up under a blanket in front of a fire- maybe while enjoying a glass of wine or making s’mores.

You don’t even need to have power.
